King Brown Saves Human From Certain Death
Brian Bush was travelling by road to Newman, Western Australia, when just north of Kumerina he stopped to allow Kirk the king brown snake to go to the toilet. Suddenly a wild, deranged, vicious dog attacked, diving for Mr Bush's throat! Showing no concern for his own safety Kirk grabbed the dog just in time and hung on until it was dead, saving Mr Bush's life.
Dogs get medals for killing snakes here in Australia. If a dog killed other native animals it would probably be re-educated behind the shed with a bullet! Anyway, Kirk is much more handsome than any dog I have seen and he doesn't dig up the garden, leave hair on the lounge or require feeding every day!
